I saw a video on instagram recently, the premise was "showing a 90s kid the future". I agree it's not great.

We had it too good in the 90s and thought it would continue that way. My mother is asking me to get a landline for emergencies when I move and I'm like... uh, maybe, just for nostalgia purposes. Of course, I'll still have my cell phone.

I learned a long time ago that there is no future persay. All we have is NOW and NOW and NOW and those "nows" ARE our future.
