My readings went well, the second time reading for this group was much easier than the first back in October, plus I had my mom and a friend there for support.
I read from my first book "The Formative Years", Jeevan and Anna always have very nice things to say about my poetry. I was expecting my friend David to be there as well he wasn't, he is my biggest supporter in SPC but still I enjoyed myself.

Today I went to a UU congregation meeting, they were talking about food insecurity this week. I like UU because they read their values, read a couple of poems rather than the bible, then have a joys and concerns segment where everyone can bring up their own joys and concerns and drop a pebble in a bowl of water and have a guest speaker for an important discussion and then some music. It feels more important to me than Catholicism which is all talking to a god who may or may not be there.

I dunno... I also found out about their congregation because of SPC so they feel interconnected.

Anna and Jeevan read there once awhile ago and I went to support them. They are having a peace concert on May 16th I would like to attend.

Anna has been reading the Kalevala (which is a Finnish book with English translation - it is an epic mythological poem she and her father loved but her father now passed, she is from Finland) and she suggested I read it, I am going through it and highlighting parts I like about the father/daughter relationship (I found it on Amazon in ebook form for just over $1)

Olivia, my youngest niece came for lunch by herself today. She is off to Madrid for a vacation in between university but wanted to see us before she left. I can't believe she is doing this by herself at 20 years old. :)

Other than that, I am packing, I have six full boxes and a lot of stuff I cannot take. LOL
